About
I am an Italian writer, director and producer, born and raised in London, England, now based in New York City, where I grew up in a creative environment that appreciates art in all its forms.
As an artist, I have experimented with multiple themes, genres and dimensions that leave the audience thinking, resonating with them on a deep, human, and emotional level.
These experiments led me to search personally for my inspiration. In this search I came upon stories that I have aimed to narrate in my early films. Ones that explore ideas of hope, gratitude, love, and understanding. An untold story of my ancestors in the 1920s affirmed a hopeful message that I wanted to bring to life — that integrity and social responsibility can be found in the ruthless world of banking, even at times of havoc; my lifetime journey with my sister, who has special needs, to share the emotions and learnings that can come from exposure to diversity. Ultimately, what has driven me the most with these ideas is that they push us to see the world through a different lens, or at least think critically of the world we live in.
All of these vast and intense subjects pushed me to explore the human psyche and enter the genre of psychological dramas and thrillers.
Throughout my artistic career, I have pursued the combination of emotional intimacy with visual work that can cross boundaries, resonate with diverse audiences, and feel both grounded and transportative. As I continue to develop my storytelling style as a writer and director, I seek to be in close proximity with the evolving sides of the industry and foster constant elevation of my techniques.
